Lawnbowl Village

Lawnbowl Village seeks to engage and enliven the precinct by providing a diversity of community, cultural, retail, living and workspaces.

Two of the three towers contain high quality, affordable apartments, while the third tower houses a childcare centre, a theatre, art gallery, bookshop, cafes, makerspaces and co-working spaces.

The life of any building begins at the ground level. Street facing shopfronts draw visitors from the Glenhuntly Road retail village. The site entrance is flanked by the bustling activity of a community centre and a café, spilling out into the public space see detailed plan. The charm of a bookshop, visible from the street, draws people further into the site, where they also find a protected urban garden and play equipment for the kids.
